Most brush problems are not brush problems. They are fitment problems — a brush that does
not match the machine, the surface, or the operating environment. Manybrush builds custom
industrial brushes to your specification, starting from an existing mold library of 300+
profiles so you can test a new design without paying for tooling.
If you have a drawing, a sample, or just a sketch on a napkin — send it. We will tell you
within 24 hours whether we can make it, what it costs, and how long it takes.
No drawing? A photo with a ruler in frame and the machine model is usually enough.
Describe the application — we will suggest the spec if you are unsure.
Email us your machine model or brush size — we confirm fitment before quoting.

If it holds filament and mounts to something, we have probably made it.
| Brush Type | Typical Custom Parameters |
|---|---|
| Strip / channel brush | Channel width × height, bristle material, trim length, density, overall length |
| Cylindrical / roller brush | OD 50–800 mm, core material, core ends, brush length, bristle density |
| Wafer / segment brush | ID, OD, thickness, pin layout, flat / convoluted / angled |
| Disc & cup brush | Diameter, arbor hole, thread, bristle type |
| Twisted-in-wire / tube brush | Diameter, stem length, stem flexibility, end configuration |
| Spiral / coil brush | OD, wire diameter, coil pitch, ends |
| Wheel / radial brush | OD, width, bore, fill material |
| Miniature & technical brush | Custom fill, small form factors |
| Porcupine roller | Wire gauge, angle, density, pattern |
| Squeegee blade | Profile, hardness, length |
No black box. Every stage has a stated deliverable and a stated timeline.
Buyers often specify a brush without knowing which variable actually drives performance. Answer these and material selection stops being a guess.
| Question | Why It Matters |
|---|---|
| What is being brushed? | Determines bristle material and diameter |
| What is the interference / contact depth? | Too little contact = no cleaning; too much = motor overload and short life |
| What is the operating speed? | High speed requires denser, shorter trim to prevent flutter and shedding |
| What is the ambient temperature? | Nylon degrades above 120 °C; steel or stainless needed at high temp |
| Is there moisture or washdown? | PP over nylon for wet; stainless wire for corrosion |
| Is there static, spark, or food-contact risk? | Requires conductive, non-sparking (brass), or FDA-compliant materials |
| What replacement interval do you target? | Drives bristle density and diameter trade-off against cost |
Nylon 6.6, Nylon 6.12, PP, PBT / polyester, abrasive nylon (SiC, aluminum oxide), conductive nylon, carbon steel wire, galvanized wire, stainless wire (304/316), brass wire, copper wire, horsehair, hog bristle, sisal, tampico, PTFE, natural coconut fibre.
Galvanized steel, stainless steel, aluminum, PVC, ABS, polypropylene, wood, bamboo.
Arbors, adapters, end caps, hold-down plates, keyed and splined cores, threaded inserts.
For distributors and brand owners who need a supply chain, not a one-off order.
| Concern | Our Answer |
|---|---|
| “Chinese quality is inconsistent” | Same spec, same line, same operator — batch reports on every shipment |
| “MOQ is too high to test” | 50 pcs on standard specs; 300+ molds means no tooling |
| “Communication is slow” | English-speaking team, reply within 12 hours, direct WhatsApp to engineering |
| “I can’t verify the factory” | Live video factory tour on request; third-party inspection welcome |
| “Lead times are unpredictable” | Quoted lead time locked into the PO; weekly photo updates |
Yes, most of the time. Send the photo alongside a ruler or caliper in frame,
plus the machine model and application. We will produce a dimensioned drawing for your approval before
sampling.
For standard profiles in our 300+ mold library, no. For genuinely bespoke
profiles, we quote tooling separately and it is usually waived above a volume threshold.
Depends on the construction. Strip brushes and cylindrical brushes with
standard cores start at 50 pcs. Bespoke cores or new molds have higher minimums — we will always quote the
lowest viable quantity.
Yes. We regularly work under NDA for OEM designs. Send us your template or use
ours.
Yes. If your design has a feature that will drive cost or fail in service, we say
so before quoting — even if it means a smaller order.
Photo or sample evidence first; if the fault is ours, we replace or credit.
No-questions replacement on dimensional non-conformance.
Yes. We are in Anhui, four hours from Shanghai — many buyers combine a factory
visit with a Shanghai sourcing trip. Live video audits are also available.
300+ molds already owned, so a custom brush usually means no tooling cost. Samples in 5–7 days, MOQ 50 pcs.
